Tarter Construction Services was founded by Jeff Tarter in Bloomington, IL in 2005, after over 20 years of gaining knowledge and expertise in all areas of the construction business. By applying what he learned for the benefit of his clients, he has helped the company grow into a multimillion-dollar business. Besides providing design-build services for a variety of projects, Tarter Construction Services is dedicated to bettering the communities we work in, using our knowledge and experience to help others and the environment.

Tarter Construction Services is actively involved in not-for-profit projects. We consider it a privilege to work with several not-for-profit organizations and welcome any interest or inquiries from the not-for-profit sector.
It brings us great satisfaction to be able to help people live more comfortable, independent, and convenient lifestyles through our designs and construction.
We Take Our Responsibility to the Environment Seriously
At Tarter Construction Services, we are working to make a better world for future generations. We work closely with owners, designers, end users and municipalities to provide environmentally conscious options and energy-code compliance. Our interest in the environment and sustainable building practices is ongoing, and we are always looking for more ways to incorporate “green” construction methods. We are also a Certified Lead Renovator. We have been involved in both wind energy and “green” conscious projects. These projects include: Twin Groves Wind Farm, White Oaks Wind Farm, and several Heartland Community College projects, which have all been constructed in an effort to display our earth-friendly mentality. We have helped clients to qualify for energy grants based on materials and products used in their construction projects.
